Caffeine is clearing Google Sheets cell values

Hi All,

If the Google Sheets is open and the Caffeine is active, and also cursor in the any cell of the Google Sheets which is filled with formul, the Caffeine(v1.97) clearing cell values. It is very bad,I'm having to rewrite all the formulas, is there a solution to this?

You can change the method used by caffeine or change the key that is pressed , the parameter can be added in the shortcut to caffeine.exe as shown in the second link .

As you suggested, I have added a starting parameter like " -key 128" to the application. Yes, there was no problem with Google Sheets, but this time When I write message to WhatsApp Web, Caffeine is pasting everything on the clpboard to WhatsApp. Is there no way to havn't an impact at all?

You can try one of the other methods that are mentioned in the caffeine webpage that are not sending a key or try another key like f18 .

but you need to convert the hex code to decimal ( google it )  example f18 has scancode 0x81  decimal = 129  (8*16 +1 )

-useshift is pretty unobtrusive, but any key being pressed will have some impact on your system.

You might try -stes instead?
