How to force a style for a given Skin Empty How to force a style for a given Skin

In Skinner's help file, it is writtent :

Some skin designs really only work best when the user chooses specific sticky colour and font settings. A set of these can be added to the skin, so that when the user first loads it, they're asked whether they would like to set their default style to the settings you've included. Pick these values with the Edit / Default Style menu item. The Noos skin has this setting

I really agree with the asumption... but unfortunately
- Edit / Default style Menu doesn't exist (any more ?) in Skinner
- The Noos skin is no more available (and do not allow to examin it to see how it works)

What currently exist is the Edit / Note Skin properties, whose dialog contains a "Default style" paragraph, but even if it is fulfilled, nothing happens when loading the corresponding skin.

So, how to force a style for a given Skin ?

Thanks, that section of the help file did need correcting.

You've found the right place though.  When you load that skin in Stickies, and you'll need to do it in Settings, you'll get asked about whether you also want to set those values.  It's ultimately up to the end user though - you can't force an appearance on them.
