stickies - repeating alarm?

is it possible to set a repeating alarm in the app?  .....eg: to alert every day at 16:00 or similar

Is it possible? Not yet, I don't believe. The alarm dialog does not offer an option to set recurring alarms. It appears that the sticky must sleep to be recurring. Would like to have this too; it would eliminate the build up of closed recurring stickies for one thing. 

Posting this under feature requests might get someone's attention.

I didn't find any specific setting for this but you can achieve almost the same thing using this method.
In settings > alerts at the very bottom you should see "Minutes to snooze a note which is sounding an alarm".  Set it to 1440 minutes (24 hrs).  When the alarm goes off hit snooze on the choices presented.  A work around, but it is all I could find that works.

to set a recurring alarm, make a stickie and set it to sleep for a couple minutes>open the manage stickies tab and if not view sleeping tab> find your note and right click on it opens the menu and choose recurring and set it for any options for instance every 3 weeks, every Wednesday at 213:00 many ways to try

A quicker way to set a recurring alarm:
Create your stickie > Right click title bar > mouse over sleep > in the menu that opens, at the bottom,  select recurring and set your required parameters.

ctrl + shift + O opens the recurring menu immediately.
