Put alarm in Stickies to sleep if not stopped

My wife would like to request that alarms don't continue to play forever, because when I'm away from my desk the alarm annoys everyone in the house! What would be good is for the stickie to stay on top but the alarm would stop after a short time and then periodically play, rather as a car alarm does. Ideally I would like to change the time periods for off and on in settings.
