What does the "Edit the Source" keyboard shortcut do?
Sat Aug 12, 2023 6:35 pm
Hi, in the help file, under "Keyboard shortcuts," I found an entry for "Edit the source." Its keyboard shortcut is Shift+Control+E.
What does this do?
Also, as a side note, are notes stored as RTF on the back end? If so, is there a quick way to access the underlying RTF code for a note?
Thanks again for some great software!

The source is the sender of the note , if the note was send from another pc it can be the name or IP adress . You can try it if you send a note to 127.0.0.1 it will appear on your desktop . The standard skin displays the source .
Stickies are stored inside the stickies.db if you have version 10 so it is not easy , but you can save the sticky as rtf from the "save as " menu in both sticky or Manage notes and open it in notepad to see the rtf code.
