Hang / Stand Stickies on desktop

I'm using stickies now since - i think - version 5 and love it.
Since 10.1C I realized (now also with updated version 10.1D) that the stickies are as default standing.

If i paste more text, it is problematic, as the header will go out of screen...

I have not found any option to change the defaults.

Is there an option i missed?

For new notes (future notes to be created), there is an option in settings, and for an existing note, in the "right clic" menu.
Sorry, my Stickies is French speaking, but position of various options is the same whatever the locale.
