can send stickies to some but not to one

I have stickies set to machine IP. I can ping the IP but I cannot send note to that IP. I have 3 machines total. 2 work and for 1 machine I cannot send stickie. 

All machines are on the same version of stickies. I do not run a stickies server. All machines are hardcoded with IP addresses. 

I'm stumped
