Stickies Hiding sticky notes title bar

I'm sure I used to be able to hide a stickies note title bar, but now I can't see how to do this now.

How can I hide the title bar (which is now pretty big) and set stickies to default to not having the title bar visible?

Apologies if this is covered in the help, but just can't find it.

You cannot hide the titlebar afaik unless you change the skin layout using skinner . You can both change the visual bar or the area that is designated as title area by windows as the place where you can grab and move a window ( and other things ) .

You can download the skin ( the default one is hardcoded in stickies.exe ) and change it to your liking or choose another skin created by users that has no visual titlebar .   https://www.zhornsoftware.co.uk/stickies/skins.pl

Thanks for that, had a scroll through and found veryslimblack1t which is pretty much exactly what I was after and as a remember stickies from 5 years ago!

Ha ! Sandiger , his prolific creations always reminded me of Mondriaan Art , i am quite surprised by the minimal veryslimblack1t skin he created so unusual  instead of the wirlwind of colors .


He pushed the limits of what you can do with skinner and influenced a lot of new skins .

You remember correctly - there was a time there was a mode called "posted" which meant that the title bar was effectively removed.  I took that mode out, but as it's been replaced by what you can do with skins, you can still get the same effect, as Sooyke pointed out.
