Zbar Blank Tab?

I love using Zbar, but upon downloading it for my new work computer, there is a blank tab that cannot be removed....
Anybody know what this is all about / how to remove it?

If you hover over it, does it have a title?

ZBar has always been a "hack" and so there will be little niggles like this.  It's conflicting with some other app which is playing fast and loose with the definition of what a taskbar window should be probably.

I can probably help remove it, but need to work out where it's coming from first!  Is there an app you close which causes it to disappear?

Hovering over the blank tab gives a blank box....  (see below)
I haven't found a computer application either that when closed (or opened) removes this blank tab.

Can you download this file:

Swap the file in it into place, and then control-click the offending button.  What does the dialog which appears say that the window title and class are?

Can you try downloading the file again and seeing whether it eliminates the button now - I've added an exclusion for that window?
