Welcome to Stickies - suppress

Hello,

I am running Windows 10 1809.  I installed Stickies for everyone.  When a user logs into the computer they get a pop up saying: Welcome to Stickies v9.0e! and some general information.  It does of course exit and does not show up again if you click the X at the top right corner.  

I am wondering though, is there a way to suppress that Welcome pop up all together?

Sure, as you install the app, copy in a blank stickies.ini file to the data directory.  If Stickies finds no data files at all, it will open that “welcome” note, but if it finds even an empty file, then it will not open the welcome note.
 
Of course you could also use this approach to copy in some initial settings you might like people to have.  If, for example, you always like to check an option, copy in a options.ini file with the appropriate line in it, and that will set it.
