Can BART have a file readability check?

In the past, I have had a couple of instances of a file that appeared to be fine and the file in the backup was also present and correct but when I came to try and read the said file I got a read error, something in the file data had been corrupted.

Could BART have an option (or two) that a user might check to say "run through the files, opening each in turn and binary read them until EOF is reached". Seperate options to read both the source and the destination files would be even better.

I realise this would slow the "backup" process down considerably but I wouldn't expect to run it for every backup.
