How to disable minimize
Tue Apr 05, 2022 10:25 am
Hi! Is there any way to make notes stay on desktop when I minimize all windows (win+D)? Without puting them always on top.

win + d is show desktop
win + m ( win + shift +m reverse it back ) is minimize all windows ( but sticky notes will stay as you cannot " minimize " them )

Wow I didn't know about this. Thanks!
But now I have to find how to switch win+d and win+m cause I can't press it with one hand)
PS On an unrelated note: the captcha on this forum is too much.

upd: It turns out win+m can't bring windows back so it's not what I need.
Anyway it would be great if notes would just stay on desktop. Like rainlendar for example has this option.

I would suggest you read her entire response.
win + m ( win + shift +m reverse it back ) is minimize all windows
WIN + M Minimizes
WIN + Shift + M reverses it back (Restores all Windows.)
When you are stressing over finding a solution it is all too common to "speed read" the answer, missing the "key" element of the answer. My advise, which I am always reminding myself, is read, re-read, re-read, and when you are finished, re-read again.
