Unable to find stickies.db

I am trying to create a portable version of Stickies.

stickies.exe was easy enough to find but I can't find stickies.db.

I've looked though the following directories:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Stickies
C:\Users\kingm\AppData\Roaming\stickies

I tried only having stickies.exe and ignoring stickies.db but it still created files in Roaming, so I believe I need to figure out where stickies.db is.

Any ideas?

It mentions that to find the directory used for stickies data file open the  " About Stickies......." traymenu option .

That's the guide that references stickies.db.

I can not find stickies.db.

You mean the directory in the " About...."  is    C:\Users\kingm\AppData\Roaming\stickies     but you cannot find stickies.db there?

Ok i see ......  you are using an older version  V9 ? There was a big change with the update to version10 . The database is stickies.db in v10 but in v9 or earlier it was store.mdb !

You can choose to upgrade to v10 or using the files from v9 but then you need to copy the whole ...roaming\stickies\ directory to a new directory or usb and add stickies.exe to it. Then you can start stickies.exe in this new dir ( or usb ) and have it as portable .

You need to exit stickies first before copying the directory !
