Recover stickies from SATA drive

Hi all

My laptop died on me the other day so I've taken out the drive and bought an adapter to enable transfer of data to a reconditioned laptop I bought as a replacement.

I'd really appreciate if anyone could walk me throught the process of recovering the stickies and reinstalling them from the, now, external drive.

It depends on the version you have used and the version you are going to use on the new drive . The latest version is V10 and its data storage is quite different than V9.

Can you check which version you had and  the window OS version it is on ?

I was trying a few things surrounding restore in the App settings but eventually found that I could simply open the rtf files and all the information was there.

Result!
