stickies not copy pasting pictures

I'm running windows 10 stickies v7.1e.  The last computer i had ran windows 7 and stickies v... older one. And it copy pasted whatever was copied into my clipboard. 

But the new one v 7.1e is not pastign the picture. Is this something you're aware of?

What's the fix?

i restarted my computer and it started copy pasting the pictures again. 

everything is well with the world.
