- I see that the file Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) is needed, but the file is from 2007 ie 12 years old.
I am worried to break something on my software because after many hours of reinstalling due to bsod for some unidentified reason, I prefer to install only whats needed
Is this file fully compatible with windows 10 pro ver 1903 ie latest version ?
- Is stickies still developed, I see its app 1½ years since last update ?

I installed it without problems on win10 1903 , as you can see there are a lot of versions . Most programs install them without asking as part of their installation.
From the answers on the forum i guess Tom Revell is still working on some features

As I mentioned in email, the next release of Stickies will drop the need for this library (by statically linking to it), but otherwise as Sooyke says, it's a safe thing to install, even now under W10.
